Discuss school admissions 2012- 2013

hi IL ites,

Can we all form a group to discuss our kids admission for the next academic year..
because from october, the schools will start issuing application forms..
here we can discuss the different schools
1. application form issuing date
2. last date of submission
3. quality of schools etc.

brief intro of me: Iam vanitha , hunting schools ( LKG) for my 3 yr old cutie pie.. her name is Shivani..

iam looking for the following schools..

1. chinamaya vidyalaya, virugambakkam
2. harishree vidyalayam
3. psbb millenium , OMR
4. BVM global , bollenini hill side
5 . gateway the complete school, shollinganallur..

we are currently staying in vadapalani and we are planning to shift to shollinganallur if we get admission in PSBB or BVM bollenini.. is the schools are really good? is it worth the change??

i think your LO will be in pre-school. not sure but from what i know... mostly schools take admission for pre-school by 2.5 yrs and lkg for 3.5 yrs.

my DD is turning 2 next month. im mighty confused when she can join school/preschool. will she be eligible for 2012-2013? all depends on the dates... some school has march as cut off, others have june as cutoff... so not sure

as far as i know psbb will issue forms in november sometime...

nice to see ur reply... my kid completed 3 yrs this july.. she is currently in NURSERY in EUROKIDS...
i think u can put ur kid in 2.5 yrs in prekg and 3.5 yrs in LKG as per CBSE norms..

Heard chinmaya is good... aren't u trying for psbb kk nagar?
heard that la chateline is good too....
am trying prekg admission for my son Arya for June 2012...
called psbb today... they asked me to call Nov 1st week...

My Ds Dob:April 6 2010.
So he will be completing 21/4 in june 2012.Wil he be admitted in Pre-kg?in schools.

Can somebody clear me about PSSB k.k.nagar,BVM admission

Hi ILs,

I am also collecting info to put my Daughter in to LKG in 2012. I am staying at Sadasivanagar, Madipakkam.
The following are the current options now:
1. Pon Vidhyashram - Near velacherry MRTS
2. Sai Vidhyashram from SAi group

Haven't decided on any school yet.

iam keen on PSBB too.. but i have heard that psbb doesnt give forms for LKG.. is it true? i have heard mixed reviews about chinmaya and la chateleine... how is psbb millenium in OMR..?

Hi All.. I'm also looking for pre-kg admission for my son in 2012. He will be 2 years this Sunday.. I am not able to take any decision on the schools Went to BVM, OMR yesterday.. But I was surprised to see such a small school there.. I wonder where kids will play? Should we join there only for the Brand name of BVM? Is it the same case with PSBB, OMR? Toooo many questions in mind..

Vanitha Sekar: SSM = Srimathi Sundaravalli Memorial school. JM1: Junior Montessori 1 (Pre Kg). Their main school is in Chrompet and prekg to 1st std is in Perungulathur..
