Disciplining toddlers.

    Rakhi, so in Haritha's case the kid is clinging because she doesnt socialise or go to day care.. My little one goes to day care and still very clinging.. will not let me do anything.. all that Haritha mentioned so I was told since she spends most of the time in day care she is clingy :LOL so guess it doesnt matter then.. its probably a phase and I have made peace with it :( and FYI my DD is 2yrs and 3 months :D

    Chitra, going to daycare for long hours also makes them clingy. I can vouch for that as mine was (some days still is) that way. I guess we need to establish a balance. I am sure you agree, at this age, being with a parent 24/7 cannot really be good, compared to having a little time with other kids?
    But like to said, it could be a phase too.

    Rakhii, Even myself and DH were thinking of this option and planning to take her to daycare by next month.If weather permits,i do take her out to park or other friends house.
