Dip Diet

    Any diet where you consume less than you burn is good! The dip diet from what I gather online, seems to be a three months attempt to restrict calories and add more fiber to the diet. It seems to specifically be catered for people with diabetes. Restricting meat/dairy etc is a personal choice but if you removing those completely from the diet then please add other sources of protein.

    Now, anything in moderation is good. Extremes are bad. Diets should also not be a few months thing. It’s best if it’s a lifestyle change that can be sustained over the course of many years. In that sense, I’m not sure how long you will be able to follow this dip diet. Maybe a regular CICO (calories in calories out) approach will be easier to manage, if you don’t have other health concerns.
