I think this is favorite for all of us. Here we are going to see the recipe of this with wheat flour and without oven. yes we are going to prepare this on gas stove.

    INGREDIENTS:

    Wheat flour - 1 CUP
    Salt - 1/4 TSP
    Ghee 2 table spoon
    Baking Soda 1/4 tea spoon

    Salt one pocket

    For stuffing :

    SUGAR - 3 - 4 TSP - powder it
    COCONUT FLAKES - 1/3 CUP
    CHOPPED DATES - 1 TSP
CHOPPED CHERRY - 1 TSP (optional)
    MIX NUT CHOPPED - 2 - 4 TSP
TUTTI FRUTTI - 2 TSP (optional)
CARDAMOM POWDER 1 /2 TEA SPOON

    Method:

In a bowl, put wheat flour, salt, Baking Soda and ghee.
    Make a dough like chappati.
Devide it into two portion and again divide each portion into two portions.
See that one should be 70% and another is 30%.
Because we need one big size chapati and another one is small.
    So, now roll it accordingly.
Now roll the dough as much thin as you can.
Once you roll it, apply some ghee on it and put some flour on it.
Now carefully roll it and again you make the roll into round shape.
that is, do as latcha paratha.
Also you can see in the video. :)
After this again you roll the dough, but this time let it be slightly thicker.
do all the dough like this.

Take a deep kadai and put salt in it and also put a small cup or ring in it, which can hold the baking vessel.
    close with a lid.
Keep the gas flame into high.
    Let it become hot.

In a bowl, add the dates, sugar, dry coconut gratings, crushed nuts and cardamom powder and mix well.
Now take the big chappati and put a good quantity of stuffing on it.
Cover it with the small chappati and close it.
Using your fingers, slowly fold the dough and make sure the sheets are properly sealedw
So that the filling wont come out.
Now take a baking vessel or any other plate,in which you are going to bake the Dil Pasand.
    Grease it with ghee.
Now transfer the dil pasand in the greased tray or vessel.
Then apply some melted ghee on the top and place it on kadai which is very hot now.
Close the lid and let it be for 18 - 20 min.
Then open it and take the half cooked Dil Pasand and flip it.
Put some ghee and again keep it in the kadai.
Again allow it to cook for 18 - 20 min.
Now take the Dil Pasand out and put it in a plate.
again apply ghee on it and close it with a lid.
Let it be as it is for about 15 min.
After 15 min. take , cut in quarters, and gobble! :)
