Diet for Kidney Stones

my hus have kidney stones,how to reduce it

 

suggest some vegetables you know....

 

Plantain pith juice (Vazhathandu in tamil) will do miracles. It will just dissolve the stones. It is the safe & most effective way.

Apart from that ask him to drink plenty of water, avoid tomato seeds. Urinating frequently also takes out the stones in a natural way.

I Wish him a speedy recovery

 

Horse gram is the best food for kidney stone reduction..... do a google search on horse gram.... hope this helps you.

My DH is also having problem of kidney stones and someone has suggested to drink banana Stem juice, but don't know how prepare it.

if you know the recipe could you pls share the it or anyone one else, will be very grateful.

plain stem 1/4 cup
yogurt-2 tbsp
cumin powder-pinch
salt&pepper





1. Peel the outer layer, cut into thin rounds and also remove the fiber between the rounds. Cut the rounds into small pieces and soak it in buttermilk thinned down with a little bit of water.

2. Dry roast cumin seeds and powder it using mortar and pestle.

3. Take the required amount of banana stem from the buttermilk, add fresh yogurt, roasted cumin powder, salt, fresh pepper powder and grind to a fine paste.

4. Thin it down with little bit of boiled water to the required consistency .
