Good to see you here, Tugga! :)
Enjoy your ME time and the special gesture of your DH.

You know, if you go through this thread, it is all about the simple gestures that DHs do unknowingly than the expensive gifts that makes us feel so good and appreciated.

Men,This is a handbook for you.. "What women want 101" :thumbsup. Ofcourse not a sufficient read. But a supplement for sure. A window to the simple side of the woman.

    hi mstrue

First of all hats off to you for starting such a beautiful thread.

Quite often we need in our daily life dosage of such sweet gestures of love.
    which keeps us going ahead.

    Enjoyed reading everyones contribution.

Gauri, it was really beautiful for your husband to say "Take my custody also". that was classic.

    about my DHs gesture

he gets up early daily morning, and he makes tea for us.

at night he helps me in washing dishes. ( we dont have dishwasher in our apt:bowdown)

today he is cooking lunch for me and kids. he brought brkfst from outside.
today is my day off. It is so relaxing not to think of cooking and about menus:)

We've both been having some hectic schedules.
But DW made it a point to spend some quality time for an hour today.

    That was great.

Yesterday on Mother's day ..I was served the best breakfast made by DH and my DS... they also gave me cute little cards...

After that they took me to the Mall and got me something I wanted from a long time "A new pair of Chanel sunglasses".

While we were coming back DH deliberately took a detour and packed dinner from my favourite restaurant ..although DS and Dh do not like that place much...

I am floating on cloud nine today.

    FL,
My DH is in India for the past few weeks. He calls almost every day and sure enough called on Mother's day too but all he could remember was it was a Sunday. :bonk I too did not feel like reminding him. (But hunting for Father's day goodies already. "Innaa seithaarai ourththal.. ".:crazy)

If he were here, I am sure he would be reminded of the day by some TV ads or atleast the marketing banners at the gift stores. That is how he manages every year! :rotfl

Given the fact that he does give me a card with cute memorables when we dine out in celebration each year, I decided to blame it on bad marketing of the gift shops in India :rantand let him off the hook. :biglaugh

As for your other questions... follow me to the chi-chat forum. :hiya
