Did Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva really exist?

Or is it a metaphor of relationship between

    Man and God

Goddess Parvati took 108 rebirths to unite with

    Lord Shiva

Sikh Shri Guru Granth Sahib mentions the relationship between

Man and God as relationship between

    Soul-bride and Husband

Once Man cleanses his mind and continually meditates upon God

This Man, this Soul-Bride will be united with the Ultimate Husband

    That is God

Can the same be said about Lord Krishna and the Gopis

After all, Gopi can be personification of Man, i.e. soul-bride of

Lord Krishna, another personification of God

I was just thinking this right now ......

Listen to Bhagavatham. you can search in youtube. It will throw more light and answers your question. More than somebody answering, if you listen to bhagavatha discourse, you will not only learn but feel and experience it provided you listen to it with dedication. It did answered mine.

If you want to connect yourself to a divine experience, trust in it. Just listening will not help. It needs to be understood in the same wave length in which the dicourses are given.
