    Thank you mistt.
I am dealing with some health concern(jaw and neck pain, don't know if the cause is from tooth or something else yet) and it's been going on for 1.5 years now. Seen multiple dentists, medical doctors and specialists. No definite diagnosis and relief yet. Done CT , MRI etc.
Just dealing with it. Started without any injury or anything. Started all of a sudden and going on.
I have completed 6 months after the second dose too. Have to check the availability of booster shot in my place.

My child is too young for the Covid vaccine so she will only get the flu shot. I can get the booster at my workplace so I will do that in the next couple of weeks. My DH has to wait longer since he got his vaccine only in May.

Keep me posted about the booster dose.
My kid is 8 and I saw news about covid vaccine availability for kids 5+. That's the reason posted this thread. Thanks for your inputs MalStrom.

Oh, I'm really sorry to hear your health issue. Hope you will recover soon.
All aren't taking booster. People who have underlying medical conditions, working in crowded / certain departments, going for vacation trips and vulnerable about their health taking booster dose. No idea about May be we need to take after every 6 months. That's why I'm thinking to take after 2 or 3 months.

I'm sorry to hear about your son's health issue. You should try and get your son vaccinated as soon as it becomes available. I think the kids' vaccine will be rolled out everywhere within the week. Keep checking with your pediatrician's office. I'm in California and my local school district is offering vaccinations to all children in the district, even if they don't go to public school. They did the same for middle and high school kids. We are lucky. My state has handled Covid testing and vaccinations impeccably.

    She is 7.

The FDA has approved the EUA but The 5-11 vaccines will be released only after the CDC recommendation, which is expected to arrive by the end of this week. Our pediatrician sent out an email saying that once the recommendation is made and they know how many vaccines the clinic has been allotted then they will immediately start scheduling and administering the shots. So look for an announcement within the next couple of weeks.

My kids, husband, and I got flu shots 2 weeks ago. I also got my covid booster shot 3 weeks ago. Covid booster did make me feel extremely achy and feverish for two days but the flu shot was fine. Waiting for kids vaccine, hopefully, this week!

That's awesome that the local school district provides the vaccine for all ages.
I haven't seen those in my state in any of the counties.

I just called my pediatrician office and they said they haven't received the vaccine yet and will let us know in the coming weeks once they receive it. I called the nearby Walgreens as well and they are scheduling for kids vaccine from today. I have been told to check online and book one.

I think it's better to get it from Walgreens or anywhere which is available earlier rather than waiting for the pediatrician office availabilities.

You leave a week in-between the booster and flu shots for you?
My kid is yet to take flu shot. He is scheduled for one next week. Meanwhile I am checking if I can get the covid vaccine first before the flu shot.
