A University of Houston Texas paper published at the end of 2022 is sparking a wave of interest
Reducing the level of sugar and insulin in the blood for diabetics after eating by 52% (better than many diabetes medications) with a very simple movement and you do not need to make an effort or take any medications.
Only by moving a very small muscle located in the calf muscle behind the leg, called the soleus muscle.
By moving this muscle while you are sitting in your chair and watching TV, the blood sugar level decreases by a large percentage (by half), and this muscle does not suffer any fatigue, even if you continue to move it for long hours.
One of the advantages of this muscle is that it consumes the glucose present in the blood after eating for energy (Glucose) and not the glycogen stored in the muscles like the rest of the body's muscles.
Interesting research, and it could be an effective solution for diabetes without the need for drugs, strenuous exercise, and exhausting diets. (The relevant or supporting video could not be copied as UT says it can not copy metadata).
    Dry Cough:

Hi this is quite true. I had severe dry cough last night. I slathered vicks on to my soles shallow part ( which is not in contact with floor unless person is flat footed) massaged vigorously. it gave great relief from the nagging dry cough and then I could hv profound sleep thru night . Hence I express here my delight.

oh i missed the article but glad i got to read it here..but how is it possible to move that muscle???? just sit down and move the leg???that information is really interesting but need to see how it can bring the results as good as its saying there might be very very helpful for a lot of people...

wheen kids have cold i do apply vicks on their soles ( tip i received from our IL) as it was telling on the video, but not aware of dry cough will try it and let you know the results sooner or later...:thumbsup:
