    how is your dh relation with your father...i know, most of dh will be shy or reserved with their mother in laws..
    i came across two person, thought they were father and son,. but then came to know they were father and son in law..really glad to see them that way..
    my dh is very reserved with my father..though he respects him..

    how is it on your side..do you feel should it needs to be even better...

    mine was love cum arranged marriage
    so my dad dint like my dh since begining
    but both of them gel very well later to my surpirse
    not to the extent of father and son types but ya well
    but it lasted only 11 months after marriage as my dad expired

    The relationship between my DH and Dad is just very very cordial, yeah I long it to be more than that, as my father has only daughters (we are three sisters) unfortunately none of his sons-inlaw are close to him. Atleast if not a father-son relationship they can be good friends , no luck...
