Hey my Dh watched me patiently for years, then asked me a little impatiently"what are you always reading" then konjam kovama" How many times will you read the same thing" Now its" you read but you have to tell me the story":rotflEverytime we do a major house cleaning he will ask "you've read these books rt? Can we trash them? NO.

I have a pet peeve with him too-always poking the iphone & checking mail. Athukku vai iruntha azhum.

I am Shoba. I live in Austin.I visit this forum everyday as soon as i come from work. I love reading all the books of RC and JS mam. My hubby never tells anything when i read novels. He says hmm started reading now "ulgathaye maranthuduva" . so as far me i am fine reading all the novels when i find time at work or home. Reading books have been a hobby from my childhood. Especially good tamil novels.

DH has been scolding me offlate for being on indus ladies web site most of the time, appadi enna thaan padippe athule, ithula padicha cooda parava illai, ella kathayayum enkitta solliye theeruvennu adam pidicha eppadi nu ore polambal :biglaugh.
Otherwise, books mattum illai, online browsing itself is very addictive.

Ennavo every minute 20-30 mails vara maathiri, every now and then mail la vera suru suruppa check seyya vendiyathu :bonk
But, DH paavam, ippolaam pathi naal,etho avasara samayal thaan as it would be late evening by the time i come to my senses(and stop reading) and start making something for dinner, thinam ithe kathai thaan :bonk

I love reading books both tamil and English and spend a lot of money buying them, I have collected over 75 RC books by ordering them from the US, even my post man knows I order some other language books from India and promptly calls me when the books arrive. I stay up late to read the books, typically start around this time of the night when the kids, hubby are in bed and all the work is done, I read by sacrificing sleep and atharku nalla thittu vizhum, and my response is 'nothing is affected at home, only my sleep and that is my business'. Oru nall sonnen, na book padichaa than nalaiku samaiyal pannuven, from then on he has stopped saying anything.
