So I have a dinner party at home for friends this Saturday...around 7 people...including us... Please suggest some good dessert option guys? I thought of making kulfi but then I thought maybe I should make some pudding or maybe brownie? I am confused...
hiii the best dessert ever is gulab jamun people love it,and also mango kulfi is best option in my opinion ,fruit custard also works well hope it helped.
hey suunaa!!! aren't we on the 15 day no junk challenge? lol!! anyway, you can serve brownie with chocolate sauce, or biscuit pudding, or chocalate cake with custard. if you enough time then maybe, cheese cake or mousse also would be great!!
Rasmalai.. Very simple.. just buy store bought rasgullas and squeeze the syrup out.. Thin the condensed milk with and heat it.. When in the correct consistency put in the rasgullas
@thegirlygirl: haha yes we are! But I guess I will give the challenge a break that day ;-) i have no other option! lol Thanks for those suggestions...chocolate cake with custard and biscuit pudding are great ideas! Thanks!
1. Gulab jamun (with Vanilla icecream) 2. Carrot Halwa (with vanilla icecream) 3. Brownie (with ice-cream & chocolate syrup) 4. Caramel Custard 5. Fruit Custard Above all my all time favs for guests visiting.. if the food is Variety rices etc.. If the food is traditional, like Sambhar / idli, then deserts would be 1. Rava Kesari 2. Pine-apple kesari 3. Payasam etc
Manali u are a database by yourself.. and you are asking us option uh ok, here are my suggestions shahi tukda - little on the heavier side custard or chocolate mousse - mild sweet choice Karachi halwa, kesari, mixed nut rolls, chocolate puff bites - if u want some quick fix and running out of time carrot halwa and gulab jamun both made me sooo tired when I prepared last , still a scrumptious choice
Manali, last time i tried caramel payasam from chitvish recipes, it was super hit dear..though total meal was heavy everyone tasted dessert and went for second serving.. - Gazar ka Halwa - gulab jamoon with ice cream yummm!!!
