    It is a hipocracy that a country which prides on following the Democratic process and toples governments with that as an excuse does not follow democracy when it comes to its own election process. Both Republicans and independents can and should call out the Democrats on this.

    I am.upset with the war crimes Israel is committing in Gaza. There is no guarantee where Kamala will land as she does not have a mind of her own. Biden and his Democratic colleagues were happily expediting sending of weapons to Israel for their ethnic cleansing.

    I doubt I will agree with any politician or any political party on everything. I believe RFK Jr will shake things up and make big changes in this country. If not things will go downhill not only here but the entire world.

    @Thoughtful

    Here are the conspiracies promoted by RFK Jr and why they are inaccurate. In my view, he would be another Donald Trump in action, if elected as the President, telling so many lies without any evidence.

    1) Covid-19 targets certain races and gives others immunity: Kennedy Jr. was caught on camera telling fellow diners that “Covid-19 is targeted to attack Caucasians and Black people” and “the people who are most immune are Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese. He also said, "the U.S put hundreds of millions of dollars into ethnically targeted microbes” and labs in Ukraine collected Russian and Chinese DNA “so we can target people by race.” There is no evidence supporting this position of his.

    2) Mass shootings are linked to prescription drugs: Kennedy Jr. blamed school shootings on drugs like the antidepressant Prozac in a recent Twitter Spaces discussion, telling owner Elon Musk, “Prior to the introduction of Prozac, we had almost none of these events" (there's no scientifically established correlation between psychiatric drugs and mass violence, according to experts).

    3) The 2004 presidential election was stolen: Kennedy Jr. said in a 2006 Rolling Stone article he was “convinced” that voter fraud in the 2004 presidential election allowed former Republican President George W. Bush to steal the victory from Democrat John Kerry, but while a 2005 postmortem by the Democratic Party found a breakdown of the election system in Ohio, it found no evidence of fraud.

    4) The CIA was involved in the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy: Reprising the unfounded claim he has made for years, Kennedy Jr. recently made the suggestion to Fox News' Sean Hannity (though the federal government’s Warren Commission convened to study the killing found that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone when he shot JFK in 1963).

    5) The wrong person may have been convicted of killing his father: Kennedy Jr. cast doubt on the conviction of Sirhan Sirhan in the 1968 assassination of his father, former U.S. Attorney General and Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, to which gunman Sirhan Sirhan confessed days later, though his lawyers have claimed in recent years that he was hypnotized and coerced to kill Kennedy.

    6) The pharmaceutical industry is throwing money at Democrats: After the Affordable Care Act of 2010, “Democrats were getting more money from pharma than Republicans,” Kennedy Jr. claimed on Twitter Spaces, though an analysis by STAT News found 23 of the country’s biggest drug companies and 2 pharmaceutical trade organizations have favored Republicans in 14 of the past 16 elections from 1990-2020, the most recent year STAT studied.

    7) Gun ownership in Switzerland is similar to the United States: While vowing not to “take away anyone’s guns,” if elected president, Kennedy Jr. made the debunked claim, despite data that shows U.S. civilians possess an average of 120.5 firearms per 100 people, the highest per-capita rate in the world, compared to 27.6 in Switzerland, according to the Small Arms Survey by the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland.

    8) The Covid-19 virus was genetically engineered: “Covid was clearly a bioweapons problem,” he said on Twitter Spaces, repeating a claim promoted by some hard-right lawmakers—U.S. intelligence agencies have said it’s possible the virus originated from a lab accident, but have found no evidence to support the claim that it was deliberately leaked.

    9) Former White House medical advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci and Microsoft cofounder Bill Gates sought to exaggerate the pandemic, in part, to promote vaccines: Kennedy Jr. accused the pair in his 2021 book, The Real Anthony Fauci of launching "a historic coup d'état against Western democracy" by exercising outsize influence over the media and public health realm, while Kennedy also promoted use of unapproved treatments for Covid-19, such as ivermectin.

    10) Vaccines can cause autism: For years, Kennedy Jr. has promoted the theory that the preservative, thimerosal, which has largely been phased out of modern vaccine formulas, appears to be responsible for a rise in autism diagnoses and that the government knew but “knowingly allowed the pharmaceutical industry to poison an entire generation of American children,” he wrote in Rolling Stone and Salon in 2006, despite consensus among a number of certified health organizations, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization and more that have found no credible link between vaccines and autism.

    So these questions posted by @Viswamitra, are not the first time it has come up. The Democratic backed media has come up with most of it and it has been asked to RFK himself lot of different ways and I have heard his answers.

    One has to remember that the presidential election is a multi billion dollar event. If Trump receives 100s of millions of dollars and so does Kamala, how do these rich people earn it back. They have a strong desire to keep the opposition out. May it be the bullet in Trump's head or discrediting RFK Jr.

    Lots of money goes in creating the public perception.

    Just like the people were led to believe that Biden is the candidate and last minute, ouch, he just got senile we have to replace him, the deep state machines are busy at work.

    "No evidence has been found to these" - there will not be unless someone desires to find the evidence. If there is no desire to stop Israel do ethnic cleansing, it will not happen.

    I have no doubt that when RFK Jr has the power to make these happen, a lot of these evidence will be found.

    This week turned out better than I expected.
    What an intro Trump gave for RFK at his rally. Salute to Trump for that! My hopes are rising.
    Trump, RFK and Vivek on the same side, this is huge! My hope is that Trump will not be as whimsical this time around and his cabinet members will be good picks and stay through.
    Vivek to drain the swamp would be a great choice in the cabinet position. This guy has guts, showing up at the DNC convention was epic.
    RFK with the health department, we will see some real changes here with the CDC, FDA etc under him would be priceless. He will walk the talk. His speech yesterday was empathetic, compassionate, I wish he gets a chance to prove himself.
    Its also a masterpiece that RFK is still on the ballot on the non-battle ground states.
    Now, how I wish Trump is able to win.

    @Thoughtful, If Trump has to win 2024, he must win 3 out of 5 battleground states namely, Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, and Wisconsin. Besides, North Carolina is becoming battle ground state due to Kamala Harris becoming nominated by Democratic Party. Of all these states, only Georgia appears to be a possible win for Trump.

    Michigan was doubtful for Democratic Party because of Arab population in Michigan. Now, Kamala’s nomination changes this dynamic substantially due to minority switch and Indian American community support.

    RFK Jr’s support is negative to Trump than positive due to his legacy opinions listed by me in my earlier post. Trump’s win has to be based on a) solid support for Israel giving up on independent Palestinian State, b) Tax cuts, c) strict immigration, d) give up support for Ukraine, e) strict law against abortion. Frankly, a), d) and e) are not sustainable.

    I am not suggesting it is going to be landslide but currently it is tilted in favor of D as opposed to R. We have 72 more days to go.

    @Viswamitra

    I am not convinced of this Kamala support. There is nothing worth supporting for the independents and independents are the deciding factor for this election.

    Kamala doesn't do long form interviews which is the true indicator of the person. She flip flops, she lacks substance and gets found out. Her strategy is to speak less an slide through.

    Now Tulsi has endorsed Trump. This is the time even the democrats have to challenge their status quo.

    @Thoughtful,

    I am an independent but currently I am in favor of Kamala Harris in the forthcoming election even though I know Florida State will be as red as it could get. I am voting on principles and not on how my vote would make a difference.

    My conscience won't permit me to vote for someone who has been alleged to have committed so many crimes and has no respect for anyone other than himself. His way of handling COVID letting millions of Americans die, splitting the families as deterent to illegal immigration, changing Roe Vs Wade through manipulated appointment of Supreme Court Justices (especially the appointment of Justice Neil Gorsuch by delaying the appointment of Judge Merrick Garland and speeding up of the appointment of Justice Amy Coney Barrett), January 6th violence, appointment of fake electors, pressurizing the VP to reject the counting of electoral votes, Destroying official records and carrying some of the government records away to his personal facility and refusing to give them back, speaking in favor of the Russian President and against the intelligence agencies of the United States, threatening to withdraw from NATO as opposed to negotiating the European countries contribution privately, denial of global warming and manmade climate change, fight against Affordable Healthcare, and many more. Frankly, Trump has no respect for the allies nor they have respect for him except Prime Minister of Israel. Trump's inexplicable relationship with Russian President Putin and North Korean President Kim Jong Un is a grave concern that would realign post WWII relationship going forward.

    I have the following concerns about Democractic Party. They always go for a large government as opposed to small government, never focus on reducing deficit annually nor they are focused on reducing the debt, open border, exporting work overseas as opposed to bringing it back to the US, policies supporting change of sex by the minor without the consent of the parents, etc.

    It is true that it is difficult for independence to make a determination but when you consider concentration of power in one hand as opposed to multiple hands, I prefer the later than the former.
