i dont have anyone s contact no. ,, but i will definitely put my experience here. again thank you so much for your consideration ...
The next time you make an appointment for check-up at the Corniche Hospital, ask for appointment with the midwife instead of Doctor. If there'e nothing abnormal, they will allow you to see the midwife.
hi sofiz, Your points are really helpful not only to september, but also to everyone who will choose corniche hospital. Thank you sofiz .
Everybody has a good feedback about Corniche Hospital, Let me add some of my feedback. I was not happy with Corniche Hospital, the reasons being, when I was in my labour and the labor kept prolonging with contractions reducing, the midwife was very hesitanat to call the doctor, resulting in my baby to be in distress and I had to be rushed for a C-Section. So much so that my parents and my husband were in tears when they said we cannot say anything about the mother and baby now and my husband complained to the labor ward incharge. I guess it was the midwife's mistake. I must appreciate though the operation theatres were ready and all the staff/ equipment well prepared to handle any emergencies. it was just the midwife's careless attitude that bothered us, she was Scottish. The nurses in the wards were severly over-worked and they had absolutely no time to attend to us, since it was my first delivery I also did not know anything. With nobody in the ward me all alone with my son it was a difficult time for me. the doctors who come to do the rounds are so busy they do not have any time to talk to you.. the doctors are Indians,Pakistanis or Arabs... On the day of my discharge none of the doctors told me its time to go.. I don't think there are any perfect hospitals here...., it all comes down to the staff attitudes, doctors, infrastructure... i have heard good feedback only about Al Ahalia, but i don't like that hospital, i had seen cockroaches there. corniche Hospital is well equipped to handle all emergencies, but the staff there is too overworked and attitudes of some staff also...
hi ruhanee , thank you for dropping in ... i too heard from few people about the care given to baby and mother after delivery being unsatisfactory .so much so that they dont attend to a baby who is crying and we would have to do this ourselves as they dont allow bystanders at night . now that it is a govt hospital , personal attention cannot be expected . but due to the good facilities and the fact that emergencies from other hospitals are finally referred to corniche hospital .. it would be safe to opt for that , moreover because i had a c section before . anyways hoping for the best .
Everybody is opting for corniche hospital. how different is Ahalia? what are the fees that these both charging? any other option (hospital) with reasonable fees?
hi baby , if you could give me t link to the post , it would be good . i couldnt find a thread as mentioned by you ... may be its not active ..
