HI I wanted to try something different and new. Though i have cooked Chinese Noodles(not maggi)i have never tried pasta. I tried it for the first time and it turned out to be delicious.. Now its time for u to experiment: Spaghetti in tomato sauce: Ingredients: Spaghetti 150 - 200gms(serves 2) onion -2 capsicum -1 tomatoes - 4-5 chilli powder - 1/2 tspn ghee -2tspn fresh cream- 50gms paneer- 50 gms salt as per taste oil/butter - 3 tsp tomato ketchup-3 tspn procedure 1. Boil 1 litter water with 1 tbspn oil and salt, once it starts boiling put spaghetti in. keep monitoring till gets cooked. You can see a slight colour change and u can take a piece out and press it between fingers to see if it cooked. once cooked strain them and keep aside 2. chop onions and capsicum into small pieces. 3. Blench tomatoes and make a puree of them 4. take a pan, pour oil/butter, and fry Onion and capsi 5.Add tomato puree, chilli powder and salt 6.cook for 7-10 mts till it becomes solid 7.add 1 glass water and when it starts boiling add cream and tomato ketchup(optional).cook for 2mts. switch off the flame. 8.wash the spaghetti in cold water once and fry them using the ghee in separate pan. (fry as per ur requirement, how crispy u want it to be.) 9.now add the tomato sauce to it and coat well. 10.Grate the paneer on top of it all over. 11. keep a dosa/chappathi tawa on low heat and above that keep the spaghetti pan close it with a lid and cook for 5 mts. till the paneer melts and stick to the spaghetti. Serve it hot. Try this out and let me know how it turned out to be....
This looks delicious! Thank you for the recipe. I was wondering if this dish would work with ravioli as well instead of spaghetti? Wanted to know since ravioli is my favourite
Hope so but am not sure dear... I hav just started experimenting with pasta but believe me it turned out delicious.. my husband and myself was fighting for the last bit of it.
