I am questioning my senses because i am not feeling sad,in fact i am feeling relieved that she has died.

It was haunting me how she would live with those memories n pain all along.

That even we as readers don't want to recall n trying to forget.

It was a very disturbing wake up today morning after I switched on the news with my cuppa tea. It was such a lovely beautiful morning;;;cloudy, cold and rainy, but alas! The news RIP India's Daughter, sent chills down my spine.

Proud that she fought to survive, but sad that she did not. Her death has broken many hearts, but hope the punishment that will be given to the criminals will be an eye-opener for all dirty minded souls.

I share Yumna's thoughts in this. Although this might sound cruel, but I'm actually relieved to know that she has gone peacefully. This is such a cruel world and we are all sinners to be living here. What sort of life we have- always being terrified and scared to even walk down the street?? The girl is better off being in the heaven than living in the hell like this. At least she no longer has to suffer

    This story is simply horrifying.

Apart from the reaction of the so-called authorities, I am appalled at the journalism as well. So, what kind of 'bus' was this? Some sort of private operator? A 'fake' bus that picked them up with malicious intent right from the outset? Were the only other passengers the assailants? Was everyone on the bus, other than this young woman and her friend 'in on it'? Did the bus have no other real passengers?

Does anyone know of coherent, trustworthy reporting on what really happened as far as can be determined? How can the authorities keep such a tight lid on the facts of the case?

    Absolutely shameful.

As far as I've read, it was a school bus (with filmed glasses) on its way back and had only the culprits in it. When they saw the girl and her friend, they called "Dwarka????" and these people thought it was a local bus. They even gave them (fake) tickets for getting in the bus. Once, the bus was enroute, they started passing snide remarks. The boy opposed, and they hit him and threw him in the driver compartment. Then molested the girl and threw them both on the road. It was seen in the cctv cameras on some road that the bus passed the way twice and actually never went Dwarka.

This is what I read. I was absolutely shocked and it sent chills down me to think that something as horrifying as this could happen. I mean, if it were me, I would choose this bus with around 5 people on it rather than an auto thinking it would be "safe", since it has passengers on. How shameful it is.

I completely agree with Yumna that I am infact relieved that she has attained heaven. I mean, just putting myself in her place, I know if I had lived, I would have dreaded the horrors all my life and it would be hellish to live a life like that. I pray that she gets a new life which is peaceful happy and far from these evils.
