    "A pooja is not complete without showing arati and or kaRpooram.
    "Navrathri is not complete without giving thamboolam packets with nice gifts to the ladies.
    "Diwali" is not complete without first having 'Ganga Snanam', then praying with devotion to 'Lord Krishna', making sweets and savories and wearing new dresses, making fun with fire-crackers, and visiting friends and relatives with home-prepared Diwali sweets/savories.
