hiii can any one tell me the correct procedure to sprout the seeds using sprout maker. recently i brought one but not able to use it. seeds are not sprouting and they are spoiled... any one plz tell the correct procedure...??
I soak seeds overnight or until fully soaked, then drain water, wrap the seeds in a paper towel (or clean cotton cloth) and leave them to sprout. I have never heard of a sprout maker.
Hey, I do think it is a good Rs 250 down the drain. Does not work for me either and I followed instructions to the TEE. What confused211 says works for me and I use the other thing for only soaking overnight
hi friend ,i keep soaked seeds after soaking in water for 8 -10 hrs in a casserole .and i keep itin microwave[no heating]just to keep it in warm temperature and always sprouts r vy gud.
I use a sprout maker (a plastic container with perforated holes like a sieve with a lid) to make mug sprouts. I soak the mug beans overnight and then I put them in a sprout maker and keep in a gas oven which has a pilot light on but do not turn the oven on. This is just for the warmth as sprouts need a warm tempurature. The mug beans need to be moist so do not remove all the water and make them dry. The next day or morning you will have wonderful sprouts. Keep it longer if you want them to sprout more. hope this helps.
Hi, Soak the seeds for 8 hrs. Drain the water completely and add it into the container and close it. After 8 hrs, you will see the seeds sprouted. I am using this sprouts maker for ragi.
I use the sprout maker as follows - wash and soak beans overnight. drain out the soaking liquid, wash beans once, drain for just a minute or so and put in sprouts maker. do not overfill the sprout maker or else they will not sprout properly. they need moisture and warmth and light it seems, so I place the sprout maker on top of the fridge - the heat escaping from the fridge ensures beautiful sprouts overnight.
