Dark circles under Eye

Hi Friends,

I have black circles under my eye. I am facing this problem from last 2 years. I read some where that if these dark marks under eye is there for more days, we should contact a doctor.
But please could any one help me which doctor we need to consult. An eye specialist or skin specialist? Please advice me.

Dear Roja

Apart from getting eye-check, you should also get hemoglobin level check done. A simple blood test can determine whether you are iron deficient or not.

If you are working overtime on the computers, or staining your eye a lot you get the black circles. This may occur due to dryness and overheat on the eye. Place the pieces of cucumber atleast for one hour on both the eyes. Also you can take two drops of castor oil in your ring finger(second one), rub both of ring finges with that two drops of oil and then apply it to your dark circles. These treatments will reduce those... Good luck.

Stress and restlessness causes dark circles around the eyes. First watch your diet and sleep patterns. Constantly thinking/worrying about something and not sleeping will cause them. So change your routine (from what you are doing currently).Earlier i used an eye replenishing cream of Amway. It works really good. If possible get that and try.Ample rest is very important.
