Daily Prayer Thread

I'm starting a daily prayer thread.

Everyday (or few times a day) we can post prayers here.

This is an awesome way to worship God together, in whatever form we feel most comfortable.

Regardless of ones religion. After all, we are all from the Human family.

I'll start.

God, please come into our lives.
Please heal and restore our loved ones.
Comfort and embrace our loved ones.
Please bring, joy, love, laughter into our lives.
You truly fulfill our needs and desires.
Please fill our lives with your love.
Please allow us to feel you presence everywhere.

 

Lord, I want to thank you for being in our lives.

I know you are giving Dad wonderful, restful sleep. You are giving him happy dreams.

And he shall awaken refreshed and energized.

He will be comfortable with no aches and land.

And will enjoy his meals ... especially coffee I made for him.

And he will have bowel movements with ease.

Dad must live at least another 50 years and finally get married. He will have family he always dreamed of.

His family is my family and my family is his family.

I know you are bringing my husband and I together in Holy Matrimony. You already gave my heart to the Man who is most worthy.

And Lord, I know you are surrounding my mother with love. You are surrounding her with nice, caring people. You are helping her recover from abusive, traumatic childhood. You are helping her find true peace and happiness.

Lord, Thank you for being in our lives.

We get our sustinence through You.

 

Lord, please forgive those who have wronged me.

We are all your children.

I know you were trying to get my ex on the right path, but he didn't heed the signs.

Lord, please deal with him in this lifetime itself, else he will suffer in next lifetime for a crime he doesn't remember.

I wish everyone gets their desires

If people are truly happy, they would be kinder to one another

 

I pray that something anyone says or does doesn't trigger bad memories of past.

I pray we have the guts and tenacity to tackle what comes our way.

I pray we always remember God so we can call out to God always, and through the day (even in our dreams)

And I pray Indusladies remains the nice and supportive forum that it is!

 

I pray we all feel your presence Lord.

I pray we gather strength from thing we cannot change.

I pray that we have excellent coffee (health, friends, family) and a beautiful cup (quality of life, i.e. food, clothes, shelter)

Please be our advocate, and especially carry us when we are weak.
