Day 39 : Date : 08-09-2021 Duration : 10 mins Time :5am to 5 10 am Experience : I have been selecting themes for my meditation from the app and totally loving the themes. Right now it's "self confidence" Series. Few things is making me lose confidence . I realise I'm not the woman I used to be before. So this series is helping me. Day 40 : Date : 09-09-2021 Duration : 10 min Time : 5 30 to 5 40 am Experience :Enjoyed one more blissful meditation early morning. So I was prepararing for a exam and every morning from 6 to 7 me n husband prepare for that. It's only 3rd day of our preparation. First time I took a test I scored close to 50% . What I realised is I lacked confidence n focus. So before sitting for studies I did a focus meditation and guess what I scored 95% just in my third test. Isn't it amazing? Loved it. I was sharing with my husband how I could focus on the test. Mind wasn't distracted whatsoever.
Day 41 : Date : 10-09-2021 Duration : 10 mins Time : 5am to 5 10am Experience : it's funny where our mind wanders. Today being festival I had planned everything yesterday on how I'm gonna finish preparing all the delicacies for Ganpa. Everything was planned and morning I woke up and all I had to do was finish my soaking job(urad dhal , channa etc) . So I did that and before my bath I wanted to finish my meditation. Wah I sat for meditation and my mind kept wandering Oops I didn't soak urad dhal for Kozhakattai (dumpling) . Then I tried my mind to bring back to my breadth. Nope. No success . Still I kept thinking I soaked for Vada and not dumpling and even if I don't make vada it's okay dumpling is more important for Ganpa. I couldn't stop thinking.I stopped meditation n finished that work of soaking additional cup of urad dhal and came back to focus 10 mins of blissful meditation. What I understand is when our mind wanders (it mostly does for some disturbance) it's better to finish that task or stay away from such tasks which causes the disturbance. It's not easy to control your wandering mind.
It's raining lightly. Walking on my terrace. Can listen to the chirping of birds some sounds of horns, fresh air to breathe. Working like a meditation. Feeling calm and positive.
