Lot of disrespectful comments targetted at kureshi under kureshi 's video. I can't imagine the hate people are currently dishing out against Priyanka. These people need to stop invading into the celebrities lives and dishing out nonsense.

This comparison of Priyanka from Bigg Boss is moot. You haven't seen manimegalai in Bigg Boss. Most people will go mad in Bigg Boss. They need to shut that show down.

Vijay TV needs to be appreciated for bringing cwc to the level of bigg boss ( sarcasm is intentional ).

 

What does kureshi mean by acknowledge the previous day things.. why should manimegalai acknowledge anything? Priyanka knows what she was doing. As per mani she has addressed the interference part multiple times. Why didn't the team take that up with priyanka but ask manimegalai to acknowledge or whatever it is when priyanka is hurt? And often in life I have seen if feelings are repressed over a long time we snap at a point or react badly over a small issue but that reaction or snapping isn't for that trivial issue alone its a vent for the pent up feelings. Having said all that mani does seem to be sensitive. After watching kureshis video if what mani said to shivangi was not in a funny way but in an envious way it is definitely wrong. Yes big boss is a show where even balanced ppl lose their calm. But you can't ignore everything that happens in bigboss and my opinions that I form from bb are only after giving the leverage that it's a bb show and even saints will falter there. If it was to be entirely ignored why was that many ppl supported aari and why was other contestants hated so much in the bb threads. But going by what ppl say in this thread and the reels shown in the feed priyanka does seem authoritative and narcissistic even in cwc. As someone correctly pointed out priyanka knows very well whom to bow down to and whom to bully. Classic trait of a bully to choose a soft prey but it's a pity that sometimes their assumption of an easy target goes wrong.
Whatever said and done I don't support ppl shaming and invading someone's private space in an ugly way using the anonymity that is easily available. I have addressed it in the bb thread too. It's wrong. There are no two ways about it. Addressing the issue or taking sides are okay. Anything beyond that has to be condemned. Feel bad for Priyanka. It's not at all easy to handle. Che hatred pushes ppl to resort to such nasty ways. It's pathetic. Healthy discussion or arguments never exist these days. Shame on media too. It's pure business and no one thinks about the hurt that it causes to ppl.

I will try to answer your question. I didn't see each and everything much like most of the audience, so, please take what I say with a pinch of salt. I am not opinionated as much in this issue as this is just a misunderstanding between two people.

Overall I feel this issue was blown too much out of proportion. Mani could have stayed silent and tried to resolve it instead of taking it to the public. Last season she walked out of the show and stayed silent. She got a way in again. I feel something similar happened last time too where tempers flared and Mani walked out.

Lets step back for a minute and ask this. Does Manimegalai exist in the show for CWC or CWC show exists for Manimegalai. If you agree that Manimegalai is a part of the show, we can agree that she is not in place to dictate terms. No one has the right to say stop speaking to another in the show. If you feel you are being overshadowed, talk to the producers of the show. If you feel it is not getting you anywhere, walk away from it.

From the looks of it, seems like Manimegalai was threatened from being an anchor. In a DJ Black interview Black mentioned that Mani didnot want Black to put any counters when she was anchoring ( i read it that mani was not able to handle the counters and silenced black ) and Black stopped doing it after that.

Mani was threatened by Priyanka and my understanding is that Mani told Priyanka not to talk when she talks. I dont know how it is fair for an anchor to tell what to talk and what not to talk to others on own without the agreement of Production team. It is something the production team should do. Priyanka stopped talking by the looks of it. Then, when Divya got eliminated she thanked Priyanka and Priyanka wanted to thank her back. She asked for permission to talk ( that Priyanka felt the need to ask permission is absurd, Rakshan said okay, Mani didn't say anything because she didn't want Priyanka to talk ). Priyanka told nice things about Divya an in front of the entire crew of 100 people, Mani cut Priyanka off and said Priyanka cannot talk anymore. Here, Priyanka could have created a scene. She kept quiet and by the looks of it, went and cried in her caravan.

Priyanka did the right thing then and went to the Production team, after the show and said that it was wrong of Manimegalai to insult her in front of everyone ( 100 odd people in the set? ) and Mani needs to address it in front of everyone in the next show. The Production team could have pulled both on the side and resolved it, but I dont know if Mani didn't pay heed. Now, all of this stays in the editors table and Mani could have made it up. Next episode Production team asked Mani is address what she did in the previous show. Mani went berserk and went to the public, started talking about self respect.

Now, CWC is a show where a lot of humor is generated and we cant say people dont get hurt, they take it sportively for the betterment of the show and dont wash their dirty laundry in public. This has worked and people have gone to higher places from this show, the show had maintained its stress buster status.

Mani is really a third wheel in this show and doesn't really belong as an anchor. As said, Rakshan is more than adequate. Mani I think was struggling for attention without finding a place in this show. She tried to create content by attacking the judges, attacking the cooks, doing mischief with the comalis and nothing stuck. She also got challenged by multiple people from vtv to comalis and so on and her patience was wearing thin when Mani went crazy with the self respect thingy.

We all try to finding our own meanings from such incidents though we hardly know much about it. I feel this issue should be left alone and let the people sort out instead of attacking either mani or Priyanka for it.
