Hai all, Today in the current situation what irks so may people's lives is lack of underground water or inadequate underground water! We hear in all day news about the agonies of people all over india and particularly tamilnadu lamenting about shrinking water supply!! Recently i was made aware of an environmental fact which i wanted to share with u here so that you can also educate about it to people u know! Thorn trees we see in and around our place are detrimental to the environment because it takes away the underground water content completely! Those trees have to be cut down and the roots have to be pulled out which will stop its further growth! Lets stay environmental friendly And dont fail to pass on the message
Hello Priya, Thanks for sharing this info as we are all growing up to be environment friendly persons. Guess, it is as much important as planting new trees, very vital information about conserving the most precious resource in this world - Ground Water.
A very good info I think most of the area in and around TN are full of those thorny plants... In this scorching heat of the sun only they used to survive green.
