    Shri Thyagarajan,
Interesting belief about Moolan. Healing has a ever lasting impact on a grieving person. Sometimes, it becomes too difficult to say pacifying words but a few gestures can say a lot. It is the time when small help means a lot. In our village, in olden days, the family of the dead does not cook for three days but the village people see to it that food reaches them, children and domestic animals are tended. This is missing in cities, more so in these times of Covid protocol. It is heartening to notice, family members not able to touch the dead.
