Cross Stitched Ason

Ason or sitting mat. This mat is used for sitting on while doing puja or even placed on a stool on which we can place our Gods and Goddesses for worshipping. The main material used for ason is jute cloth and the cloth is covered with cross stitch designs with thread or wool. Contrast colours are used in the background to highlight the design.
