    Hey

Is cross eye really a problem? I have heard that most babies have this and it will set by 6mo to 1 yr. I find that my LO has this esp. when she is staring at some object or trying to focus.

    Hi Sumanr

Dont worry...My LO had the same issue.Even i got scared initially and then many of them told that it is just that the baby is trying to focus..It will not be cross eye.I remember that till 3-4 months, it was like tat...But now it has changed.

The baby's organs slowly develop and it takes time for them to become normal.

This problem will be there till 3-4 months. After that it will disappear gradually. You can check with your doctor as well when you go for a check-up.

Ramya - if the problem is stil there at her first bday then its time to see a doc; otherwise I think you can wait.

    Dear Ramya,
As said by aadhusmom you can wait it will be corrected in normal way. if not in 2 years you check up with 3 - 4 doctors. Even my children had some eye problem but the doc said it will settle and now they are normal. so no worries .... be cool and enjoy your child.

my LO had this problem and i noticed it when she was 4 months old . the doctor told me that it would correct by itself and nothing to worry ...
but even when she was one year old this could be noticed .... and the doctor told that she would have to go to an ophthalmologist when she is 3 yrs old .

now that she is 3 yrs old ....... and i find her eyes are alright and nothing noticeable .
but still i would take her to an eye specialist soon....
