    yea I managed to find a shop in commercial street...address was in one of the links posted in this thread....anyway here it goes:

    Surya Emporium
    325 Narayana Pillai Street (Off Commercial Street),
    on the same street, there was another shop selling yarns, and I think pricing was also good...

    and I also came to know about this store from Mumbai who have a facebook page....and updates on products are also given regularly...so those who cannot go to these places and still want it delivered can probably contact them by mail and order...their service is also good...here is their FB page link :

    Hi out of the box.
    I have planned for a baby blanket for my niece.. I decided to order in y stores and as well as from the fb page which you provide. what type of yarn should be used for just born..It is big confusion for me..for other things what type of yarn shroud be used?pl help me regarding thiss
