    Thanks all for the wonderful comments.:)

    Because this was my first attempt at Decoupage, I used only a canvas for background - that was for the first one. For the second one (Lord Shiva), I had used a wooden hardboard piece.

    This can be done on any flat surface of your choice. The method is very simple. I have put the instructions here if you like.
