Birth control pills have been known to cause bloodclots in women in much higher levels than what had been observed with JNJ vaccine; this has been known for as long as we have had the pills available. JNJ stock went down a bit on the news of pause. Many many indian origin doctors get TV time these days... ;-) Here is one, with such large eyes !!:

Janssen (J&J) vaccine, and blood clots in women of childbearing age: <source>

The condition is very similar to a known development called heparin-induced thrombocytopenia, the American Society of Hematology says new guidance released earlier this week. It's also calling the condition VITT.

ASH published guidance saying normal post-vaccination malaise, headache and fever are not of concern.

"Patients with severe, recurrent, or persistent symptoms, particularly intense headache, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting, vision changes, shortness of breath, and/or leg pain and swelling, either persisting or beginning four to 20 days following vaccination should be evaluated urgently by a medical provider and consideration given to underlying VITT," ASH says in the new guidance.

"While current information links VITT to AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccines, patients with suggestive timing and symptoms following any COVID-19 vaccine should be evaluated for VITT."

Intense headaches aren't supposed to happen with m-RNA based vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna. "Intense" is the word we'd use if it happened to us, and it is generally not as intense when suffered by someone else. It appears that we must be vigilant (especially the <50 aged women) during the post-vaccine month.

My parents (68 and +70) had their first shot (Covaxin)on 27th March and having to their second shot on24th of this month. Actoe Vibek's sad news made me vulnerable and What will happen if they don't take second dose?

Ask them to take the second shot.... if they are vacillating... They had come across fine with the first one, didn't they?

post menopausal women do not have any issues with adenovirus technology (AZ, Covaxin, Janssen, Sinovac, Sputnik kind of vaccines). Ask them to describe in detail their feelings (headaches, body aches, aching pelvis, chest etc..) for each day after they took one dose. And ask them to take one aspirin a day (an anti-coagulant of blood) for a couple of months. There are low dose aspirins (~80-100 mg) sold in India.

Most seniors in USA are usually advised by their GP to take one low dose aspirin a day. This helps to thin the blood and keep the BP lower, without any serious blood pressure lowering medications with a bunch of side effects.

Passage of time since completion of vaccination would reveal the efficacy or and efficiency vis a vis the continuance of virus spread. If in the meanwhile virus dies down on its own accord or quelled, any empirical formula evolved itself would remain meaningless in all geographies! Just my two cents.
I suppose, Bodies with higher or moderately higher natural immunity would well receive and protection from the vaccine shots but then why shots have begun with old age group?

Thank you for your suggestions. Yeah, they didn't have any side effects after first shot and hope for second shot will go smoothly by god's grace.

Big QUESTION for the scientists, microbiologists, doctors:
We know that antigens can infect.
    Can Antibodies infect ?

Why do I ask this? I see a lot of the usual schlock in T-shirts, buttons, baseball caps, etc. etc. all carrying the message:
    Kiss me, I am Vaccinated
    should I ?
    upload_2021-4-19_12-12-42.png

Can this be a public-health strategy for a country ? You know, vaccinate all the good kissers, and then send them around the country to infect everyone else with their antibodies. :hmmm::confundio1:

This reminds me of a place in Mumbai then Bombay where strangers are accosted by the licensed women for a fee to entertain. Their license with doctor certificate about their hygiene under extant rules displayed at their door entrance.
My friend was telling me that On his way to Eiffel Tower, standing in a row women offer themselves to be kissed for a fee for a minute or two! I guess they too now be displaying on their chest about their vaccination status!
