Really ! Exactly my thoughts. When my in-laws left, it was like a tsunami had just washed over! At the airport, there were no tears from anyone except MIL :) In fact I felt a little bad for her. I was trying hard to control my excitement at waving bye. Kids were not affected and my H, surprisingly, seemed to be very happy and unaffected too. At the gate, ONLY MIL had tears.
Once she left, I almost did a mini dance there :)

Now, its been almost two weeks since they left and yet- every time I replay that scene of her waving bye bye and turning her back to leave, it gives me goosebumps of happiness :)

Lucky you girls! My MIL is not going anywhere, may be ever. My DH and son are in different countries. It's just me and her.
Oh well. Happy for you all. Enjoy your freedom.

wow. I didnt know this thread until now. I used to count days when I visited them. But here, I never really counted days.. may be months- yes. For me, it is 76 days this time, if all goes well. Opps, the number is making me anxious, on top of that, when it comes to MIL, i screw up basic counting ( i want the days to be lessor, but somehow they are always more :joycat::joycat::joycat::joycat::joycat::joycat:) . I rather stick with months- smaller number makes me happy
