Cord Around Baby's Neck. Does It Mean C-section?

    Hi All,

    My First was a Normal Delivery. This is my Second baby. I had Third Trimester Scan yesterday. The Baby growth was 1 week behind (32 weeks). It had "Single loop of cord around the neck". Does this affect my baby in any way like breathing? Can I do something for it? Does this mean C-Section for this delivery?

    nope. the U. chord is 50cms or so long.one loop is not going to prevent normal delivery . I had the same observation in my scan during 34th week and had a normal delivery.

    Hi Dear, we found the cord around my Baby s head, after delivery only, since I got pain before the last scan itself. Second Baby for me and Normal Delivery.....

    So Don't Worry, Just Chill....

    Dont worry, had 3 loops around my baby ,Oy was a normal delivery and he is fine :)

    I have single loop around my baby neck. 32 weeks 3 days. Also experiencing pulsating sensation like hiccups often like 4 times a day. Is this normal. Pls some one let me know

    Hiccups are normal I trust. If you are worried have a word with your doc. Relax after that..

    Thank u vasumathy. I checked with doc and she says normal. Also cord has moved out of baby neck. Thank god.
