No, I did not redo. Its hard fabric to begin with. Right now, it is in in pile of bad projects. It was for my kid. She is little so does not know bad or frumpy etc. For her its comfort, So if she wears atleast 10 times this summer, I will feel better.

omg this video gives beautiful results, but looks very complicated.

plus I want to add inner lining, not increase length.

Sometime back I wanted to add length to a skirt. I ended up attacking 3 inch by 5 yards ruffle lace trim.

Server machine gives bearesukts but I barely use my sewing machine as is

Black skirt with white lining is flimsy, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09P7BNXQ6

Below is the cotton pink petticoat on top of the black skirt

The black skirt is tied at the waist, the Pink petticoat is tied below the navel.

Is is worth sewing the pink pettiicoat, or should i wear it separately, along with the black skirt?

my opinion - no its not worth sewing "Pink" under very "black and white" .
What is the purpose of adding extra layer?
    1. extra layer for winter?
    2. More body to skirt ? - Skirt itself looks heavy.
We do not want pink to peek a boo I assume. If not, chances are pink might reflect under white panels.

Just to use fabric, will not do that personally.
Pink skirt can be used for other purposes or you might get pink saree in future.

You just mentioned in first post, you like Satin as pettocoat and pink petticoat is heavy.
If we forget color for a min, it will give same bulky effect to this skirt. For slip - you need nude/white satinish or spandex/lycra slips, this may not work. Unless you are ready to accept failed experiment ( what if skirt is ruined, you know what i mean), ...go ahead to try.

    I thought about it.

The skirt fits me beautifully without adding extra layer,

I’ll wear it as is during warmer seasons.

I’ll preserve pink petticoat in case I get pink saree.
