    I don't get it why do you ladies follow this non sense, you are super educated woman. Can you believe in North America girls are applauded and celebrated when they get their period because it is viewed as right of passage. I think Indian people find any reason to make woman look small and inferior to males and other members of family. My only question here is why you guys follow this nonsense, why you share intimate info such as your period dates with IL- I am just flabbergasted I don't get it? I would tell her it's none of her business as that is such a personal question.

    it is not always the case we share but sometimes easy to find out....
    for example when some DILs believe in not doing puja and do not do it when they are in period OR ppl like me get super tired and rests more for example
    There are time i have pushed to cheat inspite of being tired, i worked hard i m not tired due to periods so i can say i m not in periods and get things done which i cld not have being in periods.
