Thanks @DDream. Will it be a problem while returning? Tats wat my DH says so only confused. If then I will postpone the plan
Thanks @anika987 . Yes this is my only concern But don’t know how to tell my parents because I had told them earlier that I will be visiting this month so they were very happy and so was I. But now even my DH says it’s better not to! But since I was sad and desperate he said it’s my wish
See we all get deseperate at times and Take wrong decisions.. Think calm and explain to your parents. They might be disappointed but they will understand. When you meet them after six months, they will forget everything! And so will you. Visa problem is not something to toy with.I think it’s best to wait it out for few more months and enjoy vacation fulfleged and more time than going for just two weeks and hurrying back and thinking about visa issues all the time.
Yes so true. I am feeling guilty because I told parents tat I will come and even they were longing to see me. I will try explaining them
If you think you and your parents can wait for another 6 months then it’s better to wait and be excited about your upcoming trip, what you plan to do etc. If it’s hard to wait then it’s better to go for 3 week visit after considering the pros and cons, come back with full energy and plan a longer trip after your renewal.
If you travel, the validity of visa will be less than six months when you come back. Theoretically one can enter USA, even on the last day of valid visa. But the decision to allow you to enter USA depends on the immigration officer. In that case it's better not to take risk in my opinion, so listen and try to understand the logic of your husband's views on this. For passport six month or more validity is needed. What the Visa Expiration Date Means
It is risky to go. If you dont have any pressing issues at home, hold off on going home. See if you can bring parents for a visit. They will get to see you and the country.
