Confused...Doctor suggesting IUI... but not prepared

    Hi friends,

    i always get clarified with your suggestions...now again one more confusion :drowning...As i said in earlier post i am 28 & have PCOS done HSG both tubes are good not blocked...i am taking metben for last 1 month...my hubby's(age 29) also taking medicines(past 1 month) as he is having low count (10 million/ml) & motility(20%) rapid progression also less 2%abnormal forms 95%

    We went for review(Dr.Samundi sankari) yesterday she advised to do IUI :rant and gave medicines for follicles improvement asked us to come by 9th day...its just a month we are taking medicines & not even tried Kid as HSG done last month....is it necessary to go for IUI now? i am not mentally ready for it now....i asked doctor also but she said that his motility & other factors are low so we can try IUI....so u first take medicines & come on 9th day then we will decide

    I read & heard Dr.samundi sankari is too good but i couldnt accept this sudden decision...shall we go to any other doctor for second opinion? plz suggest

    hi pravi,

    I would say go ahead and take your medicines..it will do you no harm..when the time comes for iui you can decide whether to go for a natural cycle or a medicated cycle..these medicines will give you a higher chance to conceive..so why do you want to waste the chance, right?
