My kids have been learning computer science using various programs online and we've really hit a road block. Does anyone have good recommendations for computer science program for kids? My kids are Elementary/Middle School age. Thanks in advance!
Why so early learning Computer science? Let them play in fresh air with other kids. Enroll them into sports, music, dance etc. They are already doing regular subjects in school. Before high school only they can do sports music dance. But it's necessary for their mental and physical social health. Let them enjoy healthy childhood.
i kinda agree with that. what is your end goal. if you have time and options. consider random things like debating ( that improves communication), music, combat sports at a safe training. being in computer i can honestly tell. 6 months of hard self training in algorithms can train college kids for hard jobs. lets not start rate race at elementary. you do not need in high school either unless self interested. here is another perspective, if your kid is like those hey i am trying to code this new game and i need some help. it might be most stupid game . then go for coaching. or like i am trying to program this robot to spray water . go for electronics.
