    Hello,

I am Shruti. have come to USA few months back on L2 visa. I stay in Cleveland- Ohio. My stay is short term - 6 months to 1year max.

In India I was working in a bank . On returning to India getting job may become difficult , as Job break is a -ve point . So I want to get engaged. Either in studies or in Job.( 1 more reason is that I shud not become lazy)

Problem is I don't know driving. And doubt if shall learn it during winter.

Educational background is -- I hv Done Chartered Accountancy course ( am a member of ICAI) & done Company Secretary course ( but not a member of ICSI).

    I hv 6&1/2 yrs working experience .

Can sombody help me on this?
I searched CPA requirements. Does one get job only on score card-- i.e. without getting Licence &/or certificate ? B'ze surely I cannot complete Experience requirement. In what min. period can I complete CPA ?

if you have l2 visa then may b u can try for jobs. since u have a work permit. register urself in job portals, try local news paper ads.
u can try some online courses/college courses for 6 months.
i do not know much about CPA.
and anyway a 6 month break in ur career will not do any harm. so,worst case if u r not able to find a job or study then dont worry. just relax. sometimes,we need this break too.

I suggest you put your resume into local banks. In job interviews they are not allowed to ask how you are going to get to work so don't mention BUT if you are not good in attendance they can fire you so be serious. Most good jobs in USA are not advertised so its best to send out resumes to the companies you are interested in.
