    5 miles today.. split it into 2 parts.. 3 miles/5k walk and 2 miles..

    I walked for 1 mile today. Had unexpected guests in the morning so had to stop.

    Nice motivation from you.:bowdown
    I have learnt from experience.. let me elaborate
    I used to walk on the roads in the evenings in the pretext of buying necessities.Later realised that it is not worth it because of the pollution and traffic.
    Now I walk on the terrace,I can flex my timings and manage to breathe in some fesh air.It is rejuvenating.I look forward to my walking slot now.:thumbsup

    Sowmya, nice to have you here. talk about pollution these days,will it suffice to say that i always go out with my wheeze medicine in my bag..stroll on the terrace to a beautiful krithi or jagjit singh ghazal is my favourite pasttime, but the stroll goes to fast walking without any push from me because walking with leslie has programmed me subconciously.:rotfl and in my area, even the bylanes are full of traffic that we have one way now..and on top of it chain snatchers..:hide: so walk at home is the way for me...

    Pinky, i replied to you the day before yesterday dear.. and the calories listed is yesterday.. i was not pointing only you and please no hard feelings ok.

    Dear friends,

    I am sure you are all aware of that lot of people visit these threads and are silent followers.. and I know a few who are 95 and 100kgs and do not feel comfortable posting (I know)..and that is one of the reasons i said no competitions, no challenges other than motivation..

    just wanted to request, let us not talk about the calories burnt..i gave a rough idea of the calorie you will burn even if you are not gymming but walking at home..

    this thread is only for motivation, not to make somebody feel bad that she is not putting on more effort.

    hope all of you understand and don't write about calorie counting..

    keep walking and motivating...

    Count me in shanvy i have been motivated by you and startedwalking in June i walked40 miles for July aimming 100 miles. Left you a post in 100 miles thread last week abt ls videos guessing you missed it.
