    week - 1 challenge (2/21/2014 -2/28/2014) - 5 pounds. - 17500 calories
    2/24/2014 - update :

    My Diet :

    1. 6:00 am - Coffee
    2. 9:00 am - soup
    3. 12:00 pm - 1 chapathi + curry + smoothie
    4. 3:00 pm - Black coffee
    5. 6:00 pm - 2 dosa + salad + juice

    My Exercise :

    Gym - 2500 calories.

    Cool down buddy.You are not left alone,WE are in groups by now na.console1

    No strict rules or such but regular exercise and healthy diet are must.

    If not yet started your regime,do get into, and give/share the updates here like
    YOUR current BMI and goal of shedding kgs
    Your daily food intake,
    Mode of exercise...etc.

    You can update on daily basis three times a day,on alternate days,or weekly basis,but do step regularly to know the update of other buddies here.
    Sure you will get positive vibes.

    I am back

    Lost track during weekend, as my little DD was sick, and I had to be with her 24/7 and then I fell into the usual household chores as it was weekend for all of us.

    Didn't walk, didn't drink needful water, and forgot my green tea as well. Well, that doesn't mean I ate too much either.

    Just followed my 3 meals, no snacks, no tea/coffee or carbonated beverages.

    From today, I am resuming my diet

    6.00 Morning: Warm water+honey+lemon drops
    8.30 Break fast: Boiled chick pea
    Mid: Black coffee
    Lunch: brown rice and Fish/Veg
    Eve: Green tea
    Dinner: 2 chappatis

    I'm fruit pecker.taking up basket of fruits everyday-today orange,banana,red pears and guava.

    leafy veggies almost everyday(today prepared spinach coconut milk gravy)
    weekly thrice coriander,Mint,curry leaves and leftover veggie skin thogaiyal- today ribbed gourd skin + curry leaves thogaiyal.

    Ladies

    I am wondering about this calorie count thing

    I just started counting my calories...

    Honey+warm water= 65 cal
    Chick pea for B'fast= 150 cal
    Black coffee= 0 cal
    Brown rice with fish= 300 cal
    Green tea= 0 cal
    2 capatis= 150 cal

    665 as total cal as above. And it can goes max upto 700 cal per day

    I walk for 20 mins = losing 100 cal

    I do household chores such as climbing steps, cooking, baby care, and other mild words... Which means altogether my cal per day would be around 550-600

    But the cal requirement for me is 1800 (it may be high since I am a new mother)

    You can lose upto 1 pound if you shed 3500 cal per week...
    I basically lose upto 8000 cal per week, which means I can lose upto 2 pounds (1 kg per week).

    i am so excited to check my weight now

    Dear Ladies,

    Diet and Workout on 24th Feb

    7:30AM: Tea
    9:30AM: Two dosas
    11:45AM: apple
    1PM: 1 1/2 cup rice with cauliflower curry,thin buttermilk
    4:40PM: Green tea with 1/2 cup sprouts
    8:30PM: 1 cup broken wheat upma with buttermilk

    Workout:
    Threadmill 30 mins burnt 250 cal

    TIPS TO EXERCISE FOR HOME MAKERS

    1. Pickup/drop kids from School (By walking, if its within 3kms)

    2. Everyday between 9am-10am Or 5pm-6pm go for 1hr walk.
    (hoping kid is occupied @ that time, Choose any time that suits you.)

    3. Join gym if possible.

    4. If you like dancing, download Dance Aerobics workout and try.


    TIPS TO EXERCISE FOR WORKING

    1. Use stairs in office every time.

    2. Keep tiny water bottles at desk, so every 1 hour get up and fetch water.

    3. I am sure you will get 1hr for lunch, finish lunch in 30mins, and walk the office
    campus for 30mins (if your colleague joins you'll get a buddy)

    4. If you work in 1st floor, use 2nd/3rd floor rest room (so you climb stairs)

    5. If you are phone, walk in corridor while talking.

    6. Week-ends ensure you walk 1hr/2hr in evening along with your partner.

    7. Even going to malls for window shopping helps, enjoying the window shopping
    you will easily walk 30mins minimum.
