    Hi Ladies,

    Can I join this thread to keep myself motivated to loose 5 kgs in 3 months

    Prof: Software engineer
    Kids: 2.11 year old son
    Workout type:Elliptical to burn 300 cal
    Diet:No rice in dinner for 6 days/week , no restaurant food , no junk,small meal for every 2.5 hrs

    From today i will strictly follow Diet and Exercise.

    No non-veg for 4months(doing Somwar vrath from today)..

    For today i already did 20mins Walking

    Back from Gym.


    before marriage-54 kg
    Time of pregnancy - 79
    Now,oscillating between at 68-69 kg.

    Undergone a major surgery in 2012 for total thyroidectomy and now with hypo and 100mg thyrox pill.

    I'm nearly to the near end of my life and returned back.
    Having so many side effects after the surgery and need loads of immunity.

    Geared up acute acidity due to hiatus Hernia after surgery and treatments.
    So had to fill my tummy(only upto 25%) every half-an hr interval.

    So NO diet,strictly.

    Theres no weight gain after surgery.Happy with.:cool2:

    Determined to SHRED(yes,no shedding,only shredding of those decade's Fat on gluteus) atleat 8 kgs in three months time.
    If its even more kgs of shedding would be a merrier one.:)

    OK back to topic.
    Gym work-out----It seems only Warm-up for first five days.

    Today
    At Home:

    Started fatty Butt blasting exercises(lower abdomen stretches) in early morning for 40 minutes.YES!!!!!!
    (Its been after four years since,I'm into morning work outs)

    Gym(being 4th day)
    1hr work out (warm up,cycling,stepper and lower abdomen stretches)

    Concentrating more on lower abdomen.
    Without diet, need a vigorous work out..OOFhhhhhhhh[​IMG]

    *********************************************

    My regular food plan includes

    • very less of fat n low carb
    • atleast 2 glass of buttermilk daily.
    • I'm tea-lover-masala,green,ginger,ice.....anything.
    • Gulping gallons of water regularly.
    • Handful of dry fruits n nuts every now and then
    • munching always the crunchy fresh fruits.
    • Having fresh Indian gooseberry daily.
    • Fresh salads(cucumber,sweet corn,raw papaya,sprouts)
    • regular meal including 2-3 veggies
    • Non-veg now and then.(chicken,fish,egg)
    • Cakes,ice-cream,sweets,savories...

    Hummmmmmm,what not?But all in counted scale.Its a type of tasting everything.


    My only bad habit(as others say,but self don't feel so)
    I need sweet(in any form) after every meal.
    If theres nothing at home handful of dry grapes would do.
    Much Bigger sugary tooth.[​IMG]

    Ok girls,
    Not be lazy to loose those extra pounds.
    Lets bound to BOUNCE them with a Hard(WORK) Punch. smiley67.gif

    My diet for day

    1. Morning Drink - Warm Water
    2. Breakfast - One cup cereal (Kelloggs )
    3. Mid break - Green tea
    4. Lunch - steamed chicken and vegetables
    5. Evening Tea - Green tea
    6. Dinner - One cup of low fat yogurt and a baby banana
    My Exercise for day :- 160 calories ( 40 mins )

    Prameela kept thinking about you while I was at the Gym 2,500 calories , :wowgirl lot of determination keep it up.
    There is a gym in my office building as well, planning to use it during lunch break instead of gupshupingfriendssmiley ( thanks to inspiration from prameela)

    Where are the other girls, Padmaja ? , SGBV ? , sindraj ? , girls please post your updates .

    Take care of your health.... Meanwhile without hardcore diet,
    you can just follow Healthy diet...

    1. Lot of Fruits

    2. Lot of vegetables curry/poriyal and Raw veggies(carrot,tomato,cucumber)

    3. Do Keerai/Spinach at least twice a week.

    Every one says that how could you do this much calories in 1 day? Really I donot know that. Only thing is I have to reduce my weight before coming to india for my brother wedding. That's it....I can do anything that I want it.really I am enjoying to go to gym and burn calories easily...really love your compliment Mayaram. always keep in mind . Thank you...mademydaysmiley

    3. Mid break - little snack

    4. Lunch - 2 chapathi+ Veggies

    5. Evening Tea -Tea + 1 samosa

    6. Dinner - 2 dosa + Apple + 1 glass buttermilk

    20 mins walk.

    @ Mayaram & Prameela : How come yar you girls are shredding this much calories....do share your excerise tips as well to me....As i m not able to ....

    Hi Padmaja.....

    My diet and workout plan is very clear as wrote it earlier.
    actually I am not working in USA. I will be coming to India soon.

    I am always free at home with my understanding daughter who has 5 years old...so I can go to gym 4 times in a day.

    Each time I burn 600 calories for both elliptical and tread mill. Initially I was not able to do this ,but now I can do this.

    You know Iam really enjoying to do 600 calories every time...My daughter also love to come there to do little little excercise...so I am happy to do this challenge....:thumbsup

    1. Morning Drink - Warm Water

    4. Lunch - cup of steamed rice , boiled vegetables and one piece chicken
    5. Evening Tea - Brown sandwich
    6. Dinner - One roti and dal
    My Exercise for day :- 160 calories ( 30 mins )

    Looking back I think I ate a lot today gigglingsmiley

    Padmaja my first day at gym I did only threadmill for 10 mins , but I have picked up over the last 4 days , I am able to finish 120 very easily the rest 20 I pushed on remembering Prameela yesterday . trust me I literally crawledlaugh1smiley back home today was much better I could walk .

    Prameela I should be the one thanking you:2thumbsup: , I wish I could find more time unfortunately working and being a mum to two demanding kids this is all the time I am able to give myself .

    But will catch up over the weekend kneesmiley. I 've got a wedding to attend as well in August.
