colour of hibiscus hair oil

    i had prepared hibiscus infused coconut hair oil using hibiscus flower andleaves. but my oil is slight yellow in colour and not reddish. is it ok or did i went wrong somewhere please guide

    Yea,you won't get that bright red color for the one we prepare at home.
    My mom use to prepare herbal like with sampangi/Champak seeds(not sure about the name) soaked in coconut oil for 15 days....something like this.
    Herbal hair oil mix.(pack of 3) | eBay

    The oil turns bright red after soaking.....nice fragrance.
