Heard lot about benefits of collagen powder for skin, hair, nails and bones. Even heard and read collagen helps to tighten the loose skin but not sure what brand to buy ?

What brands are available in US which are of good quality?

Vital Proteins has both unflavored and flavored collagen powders. Orgain is also a popular brand.

I don’t take it since it is an animal product. My DH takes the Vital Proteins collagen everyday as part of his fitness routine, but I don’t know that he has seen any benefits to his appearance.

Some top brands of collagen powders are grass fed beef based. So read the fine print carefully. There are alternatives for non beef eaters like whey protein etc so do your research before you buy.

There are no real sources of collagen that don’t come from animal sources. Some companies sell derivatives that are advertised as vegan or vegetarian, but those are not pure collagen.
