    What is with the cold shoulder blouse?

    Why do ladies wear it?

    It's just like open-toe sandals that warm your legs.

    CE, your threads are always a surprise.. never know what the topic is going to be. : ) Nice. : ) Did you think of this thread on reading another thread with 'cold shoulder' in title?

    I find the cold shoulder concept/pattern very odd. But the first picture has a really elegant top. Maybe because of the full length sleeves, the tunic kind of shape, or the halter neck.

    The second one, she is so beautiful, and what lovely eyes, but cold shoulder looks very out of place in an "Indian" blouse. The cold back : ) can be as wide a circle as desired, but the sleeves should not be cold shoulder. The body fitting nature of this top makes it a bad candidate for cold shoulder.

    "Like open toed sandals to warm the legs" : ) so funny and apt.

    Is the gal in the second picture a known South Indian actress?

    Yes,, you are right! I thought of this fashion topic when I saw other thread, Cold Shoulder.

    I'm not sure who the lady in second photo is. I saw lovely photo of cold-shoulder Saree blouse, hence posted.

    I do like "cold back" design on Saree blouses.

    Shaving backs? Now that’s unheard of.. am I missing something?

    The front desk on my office wears cold shoulder tops every other day! And it’s not summer, it’s actually 30 deg weather! I do think they look great on girls with slim, beautiful shoulders.

    Now about CE’s question, why cold shoulder? Tease, tease, tease like every garment here, is the answer!

    CE is the expert. What do I know. :innocent:

    If back is very hairy, in the area exposed by the Arctic circle of the blouse : ) : ) : ), then better to do something about it..... I don't wear such stuff, DD refuses to.. if ghagra choli top has a slight gape at the back, she drapes the chunri around her shoulder/black tighter than Jaya Bahaduri's saree pallu in Guddi or Abhimaan. :confused:
