Currently on Maternity Leave (have got a cute princess who is 2 weeks old) and will be getting back to work after 6 months. We are planning to relocate to Coimbatore for personal reasons. As Cognizant is located in Coimbatore, wanna try my luck there. Cognizant is my first employer too . Need below details from you people, 1. I heard that there are two Cognizant offices in Coimbatore. Which one is the development center? 2. Where is it located? Is it like an IT hub (like our OMR)? 3. Are there any CBSE schools close by the office? I have a 3.5 yrs old son. 4. Are there any day cares near by? 5. How much will a double bedroom cost for rent near the office area? Sorry if I am asking a bit too many questions, but the above questions have been eating up my mind for past two days tsk Thought this is the best place I can get them answered. The one in the area called Sarvanampatti is the biggest. Development is in two facilities out of three. 2. Where is it located? Is it like an IT hub (like our OMR)? - Yes there is a hub. They call it SEZ - Spcl economic zone. 3. Are there any CBSE schools close by the office? I have a 3.5 yrs old son. - you have one. no worries. 4. Are there any day cares near by? - am unsure of this. 5. How much will a double bedroom cost for rent near the office area? - 7k and above. never mind. All three facilities are nearer to each. So you would find it easy. Take care.
