    Hi,

I delivered a baby girl on May 15, 2009. Just needed to know your opinions on whether coconut oil or olive oil has to be used for massaging the baby.

According to some sources olive oil darkens the complexion of the baby.

    Regards,
    Lynette

    hi,
i used to mix olive oil, almond oil and coconut oil for my baby massage, coconut oil should be more in proportion, mix it,pass through a muslin cloth, and when u massage slightly warm the oil and then give massage,it will leave the baby's skin supersoft,my baby is 2.8 yrs now but still her skin is very soft,i massaged her for about 14 months...

Olive oil doesn't darken the skin, as long as you don't expose oiled skin to the sun.
