manisha was the one,who is the ex lover of karthik(rks second son).she came back after few years to handover the son to karthick.knowing this shanthi(sukanya) wanted manisha to live with karthik.and manisha wanted shanthi to live with karthik.so there was a great struggle betwen them.abhirami was arrested by the police.charulatha handovered all the properties to trust.chankarapandian was dead.and shanthi was the final pair
