oh yes i too dust with the toothbrush(forgot to mention) but then later bought 3 brushes-40Rs in a local shop and using that alone for dusting/cleaning...my DD(2.5 year old) too started to dust with me since few months,i stopped using the brush as she might mistake that for her brush or use her brush for cleaning :rotfl

Thank you Swaran for the useful tips.

One thing is very true.Once you start dusting regularly,the work becomes easier.Only dust and not dirt.

This paint brush you mentioned is also useful for cleaning

1.Keyboard.

2.T.V. back side.

3.Fridge back side.

4.Tube light sides.

 

yes very true the brush is useful for many things...we get cheap thick brushes nowadays,very useful for cleaning...
i use it for various purposes,other than for what you have mentioned i also use the brush to clean the dirt from
(1)small plastic racks(where our hands/towels dont reach)
(2)the wooden surfaces at home(wooden interior decorations done over the wall and other areas,wooden furnitures)..there would be lot of carvings or places where our towels dont do a good job..these brushes do wonders

very very true,once you start cleaning regularly(atleast over the weekends),for sure your house wont look dirty...
when all dusting is done,i mean the regular one,i wont be straining much because of cleaning...hence i take up the task of cleaning the extra things like cupboards,drawers,dirt/stains on glasses,doors and other things at home...ONE PER WEEK..

Pl tell me how to clean the kitchen window grill because the dirt accumulated is sticky .

 

Hi girls,
I dont have maid servant @ home and I am working.I do moping the floor every alternate day (my house is in main road).First, I will clean the windows grill,computer or any other items( that attracts dust very easily) in that room and then I will proceed with moping of the floor.each day i will do for a single room or max 2 rooms. the next alternate day living room.And the next alternate day kitchen...I am following this routine and is helping me to save a lot of time during weekends for other activities. !!
