Thats great news. Sometimes stains on silver (sometimes plate) can be hard to eradicate. The Wrights paste will be in the cleaning products aisle of most grocery stores. It comes in a short broad screw top tub.

Modicare has a silver cleaning liquid which is really very good. Just dip some cotton in the liquid and rub it on the silver items, you will be amazed. Its very quick to clean and also the shine will not be lost.
But as it is silver it will become black after some days. So we need to clean it regulary ( may be once in one/two months ).

The liquid will last long because we just need to apply small quantity....The cost is also just 145/- ....Its really worth..

We do have lot of siler idols and some other metal idols. My MIL uses lemon and sabena to clean them. It look really bright. She uses a sponge to clean them. You can try lemon also.

I don't know in Hyderabad, but in Mumbai you get Ruperi in all supermarkets and most stores. It is normally available free with Pitambari's small pack.

    Hi friends...

    U can try this..

Take a bowl,... put some tamarind and fill with water.. and put all the silver items in the bowl.. and leave for an hr or so...
tamarind makes it cleans very easily..
After some time... put some salt on the idols.. and clean with the new tooth brush... this cleans in all the grooves of the design. and all the dirt comes off very easily..
Also, you can put a spoon of deteregent powder in a bowl of water, put all the items in it and boil it for 10 min on medium flame..
then remove all of them.. and clean with a tooth brush....

It works very well for me...

Use colgate tooth powder to wash silver idols and items.
Use tooth brush to scrape on the idol.

    result will be too good.
