257650_235543623235283_741502974_o.jpg I NEVER WENT TO ANY CLASS OR NEVER LEARNED FROM ANY INSTRUCTOR. THE NOTES THAT I HAVE POSTED IS FROM MY OWN EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE LEARNT FROM SEEING DIFFERENT BLOGS AND YOU TUBE VIDEOS.
Pl. feel free to ask questions or add your opinion on making clay jewellery.
    *********************************************************
I used Polymer clay and acrylic color for additional colors.
I used black and Gold color clay for this set and added additional colors.
    1. Take small portion of polymer clay and using rolling pin (chapathi roller) roll in clean surface (i use old glass from photo frame) and condition your clay. You can do similar way that you do chapathi dough to conditon.
    2. To make small bead, Cut small pieces polymer clay for beads and roll in your hand to make round small balls. Try to make in same size. Using tooth pick, gently put hole in beads, this can be used to string after baking.
    3. For pendants, Now take big ball and using hands condition it to all ball. Using rolling pin flat the clay. You can try any shapes, if you have small bangles, you can try round shape. After round shape, I removed some extras in both sides to give different shape.
    4. Bake in your regular (home) oven in 275degrees for 15-20 mins or follow the instruction provided in your clay. It should never exceed 300 degrees otherwise your clay will melt.
    5. After baking cool it donw for half or one hour.
    6. Using your ideas or creativity, add colors using acrylic paint.
    7. Let it dry for some time and string the beads/pendant in black thread. Enjoy.

Lucky2, you am try with air dry lay for learning purpose but you cannot use them...since they break if you drop or accidentally knock yourself somewhere and it will be bit heavier than polymer or terracotta.
