Chronic constipation problem

    I have a good diet. Average physical activity. Normal BMI . :)I have tried eating banana. No use.:evil::banana I tried consuming Isabgol. No use.:bonk I tried increasing the amount of shudhh-desi-ghee in my food. No use. :rant
    I dont want to get use to laxatives.
    What should I do ?

    Have pear after breakfast, after lunch, after dinner, 3 times in a day and before bed have 2 fig....it should be soaked for 30 min.

    always have warm water jeera water this will ease.... and always fibre rich food.....

    Try to drink lots of water along with sweet lime juice. This has really helped many. Also u can try eating more fibrous foods.

    I was suffering from constipation when I moved from India to here. Please try the following:

    1. Oatmeal
    2. More water - as suggested jeera water, or try having warm water all the time
    3. Increase your veg intake, as it would increase bowel movements
    4. Psyllium husk powder would help. its available in all indian stores.

    Good water intake would help you. Please add fruits, esp apple and grape.

    I tried all the above and it worked. I was out of it in a week. Good luck and take care.

    2.MiraLax
    3.eat Flax seeds with cereal.

    I tried all 3 and it worked.

    hi, try ore fibre foods. Fibre normally has a stool softening property. try high fibre foods like oats, kala channa, pears, ladie finger. Most importantly drink lots of water. Minimum 2 litres of water is needed every day. try craneberry juice and prunes too. it will definitely solve i. I had a very bad constipation around june to September. doctor asked me to take high fibre foods. I tried and now am perfectly alright.

    Boil coriander seeds and cumin seeds in water till it becomes half quantity. Drink while it is warm.
    Another thing is saunf ... boil it in water and drink it.

    Triphala is the best way to clear our intestines. It has no side effect. It wil only flush the waste and not the bacterias that keeps intestinal health. Hence if you don't pass out motion even after taking all the suggested remedies, do take triphala. If you still face problem, do consult a doctor ASAP
